Working Side By Side With Charities

For everybody here at Garment Printing, the biggest priviledge we receive is the opportunity to work alongside charities. Supporting a person, or an organisation that is going out of their way to try and make the world a better place is the most satisfying part of our jobs. Every year we get the fantastic opportunity to help many charities all across the world,  by supplying them with Customised Clothing and Promotional Merchandise for their events and staff. To further our support, we offer charities 20% off their orders to ensure life runs smoothly for them!

Mace Foundation

Henry Lacey is one of those people trying to make a difference, as he will be taking on the Prudential RideLondon 2018 for the amazing Mace Foundation. Mace Foundation is the charitable section of Mace, an international consultancy and construction company. Their philosophy is simple:

“Companies have a responsibility to support the communities that they work in.”

Mace Foundation’s priority is working towards creating a better world by supporting disadvantaged individuals and enhance communities. Since their launch in 2012, Mace Foundation has managed to raise over £2 million to help these individuals and communities! This year they have chosen to aid the Macmillan Cancer Support. A truly remarkable cause!

The Prudential RideLondon

The Prudential RideLondon originated in 2013 by a group of organisations alongside the Mayor of London at the time, Boris Johnson. The project was seen as an annual Celebration of the 2012 London Olympic games.

Running on the final weekend of July each year, the Prudential RideLondon celebration has become a festival, and has now become the biggest cycling festival in the world.  Anyone is allowed to enter events as hard as the Surrey 100 (100 mile cycle ride), to the FreeCycle option, an 8 mile circuit that passes some of Londons most iconic Landmarks.

Fruit of the Loom

Henry Lacey will sadly not be doing the 8 Mile FreeCycle option full of beautiful landmarks, as he will be pushing himself by taking one of the more competitive route, the 100 mile ride!

As  mentioned earlier, Henry will be doing this in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support through the Mace Foundation. To donate simply just follow this link to Henry’s JustGiving page.  JustGiving is the largest donation site in the world, their target was to make donating and raising money as easy as possible. Through JustGiving the money is transferred straight to your given charity.

Henry is Country Manager for Fruit of the Loom for both the UK and Ireland. Garment Printing and Fruit of the Loom work very closely, working together to try and supply the the best products to the best customers. But turn Friday 27th of July, Henry will climb on that bicycle to represent a great cause from a great company. There is only one thing left to say from us to Henry…

Good Luck Henry…head down and pedel hard…all the best from everyone at Garment Printing!
