BEST PRINTING TECHNIQUES FOR CHARITY MERCHANDISE:

Given that there is a plethora of promotional merchandise available from our range which can be personalised in a variety of ways that best suits your charity, this also means that there is no one printing technique that works best. So we thought we would give you a few ideas to help you decide.

When it comes to printed T Shirts for charity events, in our experience there are few printing techniques better suited than screen printing. One of the most important aspects to printed T Shirts for any charity is recognition, you need your public to be able to identify your charity with ease. With screen printing we are able to carry out Pantone colour matching to keep to the charities true brand colours! Another amazing benefit of screen printing that makes it the perfect technique is the speed of production. It is currently our fastest printing technique for printing in large volumes. So if you’re a founder of a charity looking to organise a large-scale event, this is definitely one to consider.

One of the drawbacks to screen printing is that the more colours a design has, the more expensive the order. So here’s a tip, if you’re looking for quality designs with a professional finish, stick to designs with one or two colours and your final quote will surely be a steal! In addition it’s worth noting that although screen printing doesn’t have a set minimum, we offer prices for 10 units, however we advise placing orders of 25 units or more!

When considering canvas bag printing for charity events, although screen printing is a brilliant option, you could also consider DTG (Direct to garment printing). DTG is the process of printing full-colour images onto garments. DTG printing can be used on both light and dark coloured garments. One of the perks to DTG is that there are no setup fees or minimum order quantity which means you can order as many personalised tote bags as you see fit to help support your cause. It also has a high speed of production which means it can produce high-quality prints within a few hours of receiving the order. Unfortunately we are unable to Pantone colour match with this printing technique, however we can make it as close as possible! So why not mix things up and place an order printed tote bags personalised through DTG!
